It's already February, so I probably should have made this post earlier.
I was unemployed for a short amount of time in December (3 days?). Either way, I had a nice break for a couple weeks before starting at a new company beginning of January. New job is still in Vancouver and been nice, but really killed the number of vacation days I have. Because of that, I have no idea what conventions I may or may not be attending other than the local ones (Vancouver) and Sakuracon (Seattle).
The sketchblog is hatching up plans to go to Japan and check out comiket in the summer, which would force me to choose between that or AX. Unless I quit my job (unemploy myself or ask for a sabbatical), I will only have enough vacations day to choose one. If I do go without income for a bit, then I will probably try to get to Fanime and other summer conventions as well.
I'll be free to go to cons later into the year, but not much happens late fall/winter. Convention season is summer.
As it stands now:
Sakuracon - Seattle (no table, it's like impossible to get one)
Anime Expo - LA (Maybe??)
Comiket - Tokyo (maybe??)
Anime Revo - Vancouver (probably, maybe a table? Do I want one? Anybody else?)
Mini-Comi - Vancouver (same status as above)
So yea. That's it. Sorry if I don't get to meet/catch up with some of you guys this year. My life as a salary man.
